Recently, I found out that my Streamyx connection is at unacceptable rate where I am surfing at super fast crawling speed. As a broadband company providing narrowband speed, how could we accept it?

What’s more, Streamyx Internet is not Internet but Intranet! Browsing local servers are at acceptable rate. But once you surf US server and such, it became like snail speed or even throttled.

Well, what’s the point of rolling out 2 Mbps and 4 Mbps package to users but the speed is as slow as my grandfather’s car?

So, I came out with a QC for Streamyx at my site. How?

First

I create 3 banners.

First is for freaking slow, second is moderate level, and lastly is blazing fast which you’ll seldom see. Every time Streamyx connection speed improve, the banner changes. Changes will be made daily.

Second

I release the banner to public!

What can you do?

If you own a blog, you can put this in your sidebar. All you need to do is input the following code in your blog template:

It will update itself daily and you do not need to do anything after implementing the codes.

Implementation of codes

Wordpress:

1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets.
2. Look for ‘Text’ widget and add it.
3. Click edit, copy and paste the code.
4. Click ‘Done’ and Click ‘Save Changes’.
5. View your blog.

Blogger:

1. Go to Dashboard > Layout.
2. Click ‘Add a Gadget’.
3. Then look for HTML/Javascript and click it.
4. Copy and paste the code to the content field.
5. Click ‘Save’ and Save the layout.
6. View your blog.

Third

Let the public comment here. When the comment post reached an acceptable level, I’ll send this link to SKMM and TM. So, when internet users read the banners, they’ll truly understand that how well streamyx perform.

but not least, we can really hope that TM will upgrade their services and stuff.
